What We Do
We find gaps in life-saving care and innovate within that space to provide Right Innovations in the Right Hands. As an example: airway compromise is the second leading cause of preventable battlefield deaths. Combat medics have seconds to assess and clear the airway, often needing suction to remove obstructions like blood or vomit. Current portable suction devices are either too bulky (electrically powered) or provide insufficient suction (manually-powered), so are often left behind. Our goal is to develop a compact, powerful, and battery-powered suction device to meet the critical needs of medics and paramedics in the field.
